The Love and Other Drugs star, who co-hosted the Academy Awards with James Franco, earned the money by taking to the red carpet in a Valentino gown matched with a Tiffany Lucida Star diamond necklace, diamond earrings and ring - a combo worth over $10 million.
It also turns out that Hathaway wasn't the only A-lister to use the Oscars as a way of making a bit of pocket money on the side. Apparently, actress and self-appointed lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow, who also gave a musical performance at the awards, was paid $500,000 by Louis Vuitton to brandish earrings, a ring and brooch from the label's 'L'Ame du Voyage' collection."
